Digital Radiology (X-Rays)

Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer digital x-ray technology for our patients.  Radiographs allow us to diagnose many ailments of the bones, heart, lungs, abdominal organs, urinary tract and others.  Digital X-rays have the benefit of producing a quality image with less time and stress to your pet.  It is also much better for our environment, since it does not require the use and disposal of toxic chemicals.  Digital radiographs are easily saved and sent for consultation with specialists when necessary.

Diagnostic Laboratory

Occasionally physical exams do not tell us the whole story of what is wrong with your pet.  In these cases further laboratory testing may be required.  Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital employs both an extensive in-house diagnostic laboratory, and several outside laboratories depending on our testing requirements.  In many cases, we will have results before you leave the office.

Ultrasound, Echocardiography, Endoscopy, and others

We consult with several board certified veterinarians for these services so you get the quality results in a timely matter.  Many of these veterinarians come to our hospital for your convenience.  Call us for the details.
