Our Little Man.
"Jason" Williams 1997-2010
Jason was adopted from a rescue group along with his brother Mark in 1999. They had spent the first 1 1/2 years of their lives in a small cage, never going outdoors. Their lives changed dramatically after moving in with us, in the middle of a snow storm. In 2008 Jason had back surgery for several protruding intervertebral discs. For the last year, he had to use a cart to get around. Through all of this, he never lost that ShihTzu spirit.
"Louie" Williams 2000-2008
Louie spent his last few years with us after moving here from Colorado. He had a face only a mother could love, but he had a great personality.

"Nitschke" 1998-2011
Nitschke was a twelve pound fur ball when we found him in Warrens WI at the annual Cranberry Festival. He was wearing a little Packers bandana around his neck, hence the name Nitschke. As a puppy, he loved to chase us around the backyard, barking and nipping at our ankles. He liked his doggy treats, but he loved gummy worms the best. He grew to be a big boy. At his heaviest, he weighed 158 pounds. Although he may have looked fierce, he was a gentle giant. He loved everyone, and all other dogs. One of his favorite things to do was going up to our place up north. He enjoyed walking through the woods, or even just lying in front of the trailer. He loved being outdoors, especially in the winter. He would lie in tne snow all day if we let him. As he got older, his hips and his joints began to hurt hum. Thanks to the doctors and to the drug Rimadyl we were able to keep him for two years longer than we thought we would have him. There will never be another Nitschke. He made an impression on everyone he met. He was a very lovable dog, and we miss him dearly.

"Teddy" 1999-2011
Our beloved friend and companion. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. You always tried to please us and knew what we wanted from you. You loved everyone. You loved to be outside, even in the winter and laid in the snow. We have all of our memories of the cute and smart things you did while you were with us. You were so good and patient when you needed to be doctored and taken care of. We will never forget you.
